Derek Dubois is a board-certified nurse practitioner. He provides surgical assistance in the operating room as well as evaluates and treats patients out of the Canton location, specializing in managing knee and hip replacements, orthopedic trauma, and joint reconstruction.

Derek earned his Master of Nursing Science degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. His undergraduate degree was completed at the University of Wyoming in 2014 with a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree.

Derek has over 10 years of experience providing excellent service in the medical field. He holds a Georgia State Nurse Practitioner License and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He has experience in the cardiac catheterization lab, emergency medicine, and orthopedics, including hand, trauma and reconstruction, and joint replacement.

In his free time, Derek enjoys being outdoors with such activities as hiking, hunting, mountain biking, and spending time with his family on the lake. He currently lives in Dallas, Georgia, with his wife Melissa and two daughters, Everleigh and Autumn.
