Eddie Bean is a certified physician assistant in orthopedic surgery who specializes in outpatient/conservative care for hip and knee arthritis and joint pain. Eddie is retired from the U.S. Navy with over 30 years of active and reserve service, providing care to sailors and Marines in the U.S. and abroad. Eddie completed his doctoral training with research interest in the physiologic recovery of endurance athletes and has published articles on orthopedic and sports medicine topics in military and civilian publications. He regularly lectures on osteoarthritis, office orthopedic radiology, and workup and management of painful total joints. He is a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students from local universities, providing orthopedic and sports medicine training for the next generation of physician assistant providers.
Eddie lives in Alpharetta, is an avid cyclist, and enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
