Dr. Jack Manfredi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstructive hip and knee surgery at Total Joint Specialists. With over 18 years of experience, he has performed more than 14,000 total hip and knee replacements, including direct anterior hip procedures. Dr. Manfredi completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College and trained at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, where he also completed his fellowship. He served as chief of orthopedic surgery at Saint Mary’s Hospital from 2008 to 2018, helping the hospital earn recognition as a U.S. News & World Report top 100 hospital for joint surgery and as chief of staff from 2018 to 2020.
Honored as Lake Oconee’s top surgeon since 2015, Dr. Manfredi has also been nominated annually for top orthopedic surgeon by the Athens Banner-Herald since 2014. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, with clinical interests in rapid recovery, outpatient joint surgery, and minimally invasive techniques.
Residing in Athens, Georgia, with his wife, Mary Pat, and their three children, Dr. Manfredi enjoys golf, family time, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.
