Jon has a master's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and is an alumnus of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) at Fort Sam Houston. He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. During his time in the military, he was deployed multiple times in the support of combat operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, he deployed for another 24 months as a civilian PA to provide humanitarian aid in the Middle East, Africa, and the western United States.

Jon’s practice experience includes emergency medicine, trauma, family practice with urgent care, and orthopedics. He previously worked for the NHS in Scotland and now predominantly practices at the Midtown location in Atlanta.

Jon is qualified in both aerospace and dive medicine. His interests include wilderness, expedition, and global health medicine.
