J.D. Shea is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedics. He attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he completed both his undergraduate studies and physician assistant training. He practiced in St. Petersburg, Florida, for five years before moving to the Atlanta area, where he has been working in orthopedics since 2008.

J.D. sees patients predominantly in the clinical setting and will also treat patients in the hospital and assist in total joint replacement surgery.  

J.D. lives in Roswell with his wife, Stacia, and his two sons, Carter and Lawson. He enjoys spending time with his family and attending his sons’ sporting events.
